Asset Management

Our investment strategy focuses on identifying stocks of high-quality firms that have a strong potential for long-term wealth appreciation.
One of the most important aspects of our research methodology is that we do all of the work ourselves, which means that we internally establish an investing hypothesis and then rigorously test it through multipronged, hands-on analysis.
We are always on the lookout for fresh information and strive to be ahead of the curve in terms of knowing what is going on and why it is relevant to investors.
We distinguish ourselves from other fund managers by combining top-down macroeconomic analysis and theme development with bottom-up stock selection.
It’s a tried-and-true strategy that’s worked well in a variety of market scenarios.

Cimarron Acquisition’s fundamental investment approach identifies interesting possibilities by combining “top-down” macroeconomic analysis and investment theme development with “bottom-up” company and security investigation.

Our macroeconomic analysis – which may include a review of factors such as global and US GDP levels and trends, interest rates, inflationary and deflationary forces, employment, fiscal and monetary policy, trade policy, currency movements, credit conditions, demographic trends, the regulatory environment, and the global competitive landscape – serves as a strategic backdrop for portfolio construction.
We may also look at other criteria such as the most appealing global investment prospects, sector and industry trends, industry consolidation, and the long-term viability of financial trends, to name a few.

Stocks and other securities are evaluated and selected in our bottom-up analysis based on attributes such as the company’s specific market expertise or dominance; its market-share position; strong brand franchise, durability, and pricing power; superior scale and distribution.
